Book Review: The Corner of Heartbreak and Forever by Addison Cole

A sweet, clean second chance romance. The book starts out a bit slower than what I'm used to but the pacing of the romance between Reed and Grace is far from slow. Their romance spans a matter of less than three weeks...well their second chance romance. In high school, Grace was the quintessential "it" girl. …

Book Review: Branded by Clarissa Wild

Review I was completely unprepared for this book since I've been reading light-hearted, sweet romance novels for the past few weeks. This books is dark and twisty. Murder, suspense, sex, drugs, mob-like family connections. Brandon and his father left the Indian reservation. He father refused to tell him why they left nor why they have …

Book Review: Interlude by D Kelly

Review I commend Kelly for exploring bisexuality and giving the characters the freedom to explore their sexuality. Very few authors have successfully been able to allow the characters this level of sexual and emotional exploration without the novel being erotic or overtly sexual. Jordan and Kyle's sexuality is about who they are as a person …

Book Review: Reckless Love by Kelly Elliot

Book 7 of Cowboys and Angels series   I have to admit, I was completely hesitant about reading this book for a review. Normally, I refuse to read a book that is part of a series without reading the rest of the series. I probably would've read the entire series before reading this book, …

Book Review: Memories of Us by Kennedy Mitchell

A heartbreaking second chance romance that pulls all the heart strings. This is one of the few books, I've cried while reading. It doesn't help that my grandparents had a farm growing up so many of my own memories intermingled with this story and characters. It is a must read! Brenton Graves left his grandfather's ranch right after high school for college. Both he and his brother, Caleb attended school in Dallas--six hours away from the ranch. It also placed both boys closer to their alcoholic father who uses people, women, and drug more than toilet paper. Oh, and the Graves family are oil tycoon rich from Brenton's great, great, great, great, great grandfather. The ranch has been in their family for generations. Too bad Brenton doesn't remember much from his teen years through to his early twenties. Until he woke up in a rehab center with his grandfather looking over him.

Book Review: He Loves You Not by Tara Brown

Lacey has always been the outsider looking in. Being Marcia LaCroix's best friend and attending a private high school gave a glimpse of being an insider. To Marcia, Lacey is her sister--her soulmate. The two are complete opposites in everything. Marcia loves to shop and is completely self-absorbed. Lacey works hard and gives to others. Lacey is also being mentored by Marcia's father to take over his company. She has been working for him every summer as an intern since they started college. Mr. LaCroix thinks of Lacey as another daughter. He's upset with her when he finds out that Lucy's brother has cancer. Lacey doesn't tell him. It's the running joke that Lacey is his favorite.
