Book Review and Excerpt: Only Work, No Play by Cora Reilly

Review This is the first time, I've read a story with rugby players in it or at least I think so.  Sometimes, it's hard to keep track since I read a book a day for pleasure or review, and now I also beta read for authors too. I don't read a lot of books that …

Review: Always Ever After by Claire Kingsley

Book 3 of Always Series This hot novella wraps up the stories from Book 1--Brax and Kylie, Book 2--Selene and Ronan. Brax and Kylie have been married for a year. Nothing has simmered in the least. His alpha dirty talking still sizzles. This time Kylie has a bit of a surprise for Brax. How will …

Book Review: Ear Candy by M.E. Carter and Andrea Johnston

Review: Thanks for Andrea Johnston for an ARC of this book. As the norm, it doesn't disappoint. I laughed so hard my sides hurt. The things Todd said and wore...completely hilarious. The pineapple and jingle balls t-shirts are hilarious. Donna Moreno was a lawyer until she left it to be an erotic romance writer full …

Book Review: In Too Deep By Rebecca Sharp

Book four of Winter Games Series Review Nick Frost is known for being one of the SnowMassholes along with his best friends Chance and Emmett. Frost lives up to his name since he's as cold-hearted as the mountain itself. The only girl he has ever wanted, never glanced at him let alone give him the …

Book Review: Interlude by D Kelly

Review I commend Kelly for exploring bisexuality and giving the characters the freedom to explore their sexuality. Very few authors have successfully been able to allow the characters this level of sexual and emotional exploration without the novel being erotic or overtly sexual. Jordan and Kyle's sexuality is about who they are as a person …

Book 3 of Imperfect Hearts Series My favorite book of the three!! I highly recommend the entire series. Jake is by far my favorite character out of this circle of friends among the three books. His sense of humor and loyalty to family and friends is complete swoon worthy. Gush time complete. Dorian Anson lost …

Novella Review: For You by Alexandra Silva

Book 2 of Imperfect Hearts Series   Book 1 No One But You  I read this series out of order. I read this novella first then book 1. Normally, when reading the second book, I'm left a bit confused or it takes me a chapter or two to understand the characters. I understood the characters …

Book Review: Reckless Love by Kelly Elliot

Book 7 of Cowboys and Angels series   I have to admit, I was completely hesitant about reading this book for a review. Normally, I refuse to read a book that is part of a series without reading the rest of the series. I probably would've read the entire series before reading this book, …

Book Review: Always Have by Claire Kingsley

The first time I read this book it was okay. I re-read it after receiving a notice from Amazon that the following two books in the series was available. Selene's book intrigued me since it had been so long since I read Brax and Kylie's story--I needed to re-read it. For some reason, this time, I loved the book. I'm not sure if it was just my mood before or the fact that previously I was incredibly stingy with handing out star ratings on Goodreads and Amazon.
